Card Program Registry: Credit Union Registration

Credit Unions are invited to become part of a nationwide movement against unfair bank-card practices by registering credit unions and their card programs for free on a new consumer website. We are facilitating the registry as an independent advocacy effort dedicated to pointing consumers to credit unions. This is a great opportunity for credit unions to gain exposure and connect with consumers.

All credit unions are eligible to be listed on this registry, regardless if the rates are fixed or variable. Credit unions must fill out the application form below. By use of the form, credit unions can also provide information on their card programs that may qualify them to be highlighted in a special designated group as best-in-class. Qualifications for best-in-class distinction include card programs that offer a fixed rate and no-balance transfer fees. Risk-based pricing on FICO score is also acceptable.

The consumer site, which goes live by December 1, will provide visitors with an easy method to locate credit unions and card programs that have been approved as fair and ethical credit card programs.

After you have completed the application, you will receive notification that the application has been received. You will receive a secondary confirmation after your credit card program has been accepted into the registry.

Your Credit Union will then be placed on the site for ALL OF AMERICA to find your AMAZING credit card program and you may even gain a few members!
